Meet Hazel, a virtual secretary for smarter workflow automation
Have you ever wanted your desktop to just fix itself? Is your life bogged down by the mountain of files that you may have downloaded and forgotten about? I am delighted to introduce you to your new best friend. Her name is Hazel.

Hazel is like a secret virtual secretary that takes care of everything in the background. Here’s the catch… you have to be very specific and intentional.

Hazel? Really? Like the Nut?
Yes, like the nut. Hazel is the optimal assistant because it does exactly what you tell it to. Hazel can solve any organization crisis and single-handedly save backups of critical files in the background. The learning curve is steep; however, the outcome is highly worth the time it takes to learn the tool.

One thing that I use Hazel for on a daily basis is organizing my downloads folder by weeks. This allows me to go back and check the folder that has custom labels for each week to determine what files were created in that week. It also just looks nice.
